The accidents occur in the large shopping mall may result in heavy casualties and very serious impact, because that the environment of the large shopping mall is complex and the high density of the large shopping mall. In order to take effective security measures and means to prevent the happening of the accidents, this paper tries to determine an effective safety evaluation system, to analyze and evaluate the security condition, to ensure the safety of the people and the property.This paper use the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to analyze the various existing safety evaluation methods, based on the characteristics of large shopping malls. Through data analysis, expert interviews, questionnaire survey, this paper gives the multi-level index system of the safety evaluation for large shopping mall, using expert-scoring. Then use expert-scoring evaluation method to determine the weight coefficients and single degree membership to determine the evaluation set. Finally, use multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to get the final result, and convert the final result through the evaluation set to get the safety level of large shopping malls.The research and the application show that the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method has some practical meanings for the safety evaluation of large shopping malls. This method can be used for different kinds of large shopping malls according to the features of the shopping malls.
