Research On The Location Planning Of Railway Logistics Centers

As an advanced operation mode and management technology,modern logistics has been an important driving force on economy development.The central and local government are paying more attention to develop logistics industry.Recently,the State Council identifies modern logistics as an national pillar industry,domestic logistics industry is facing good opportunities.As one of the main transport ways in China,railway has many advantages.Facing the drastic market competition and important opportunity of transport capacity releasing in the future,developing modern logistics and establishing railway logistics network is a necessary means for railway to be adapted to new enviroment.Logistics center is the key to construct logistics network, and its location is the basis work.Therefore,research on location planning for Railway Logistics Center(RLC) has a good strategic significance and great practical significance.Based on the research project of Ministry of Railway,through largely survey and data analysis,this thesis conducts the systemic research on location planning for RLC from the following aspects.(1) The Concept and Connotation of RLCThe thesis defines the concept and main characteristics of RLC,analyzes its status role and function structure in logistics system of China,and discusses that establishing RLC will face good opportunities.(2) The Connotation of Location Planning for RLCThe thesis demonstrates related meaning of location planning for RLC,analyzes the necessity and urgency for railway to develop modern logistics,defines research category and basic principles of location planning for RLC,and discusses the relationship between RLC and existing logistics nodes.(3)The Method System of RLC LocationThrough analyzing existing methods and their characteristics,basing on the results of existing research and combining research purposes of the thesis,this thesis puts forward the research processes and method system,and analyzes the main factors which influence RLC location to construct the index system.(4) The Scheme Design of Location Planning for RLCThe thesis regards the reasonable location of RLC in the railway terminal as purposes,using AHP-Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation and improved Demand Potential Energy Location Models to analyze the demand and supply conditions on location planning for RLC in Beijing railway terminal,through qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation to put forward suggested scheme of location for RLC in Beijing.
