Research On Network Construction For Reverse Logistics Of Multinational Corporations

With the worsening of the environment and the increasing want of natural resource,lots of laws were published for the purpose of environmental protection, which has an impact not only on domestic enterprises' production and operation but also on multinational corporations'.Multinational corporations play an important role in the development of international trade and those any activity can have a decisive influence,too.Financial crisis had a worse impact on the economy,in case multinational corporations set up reverse logistics system particularly products recycling reverse logistics system,will have important role on the promotion of international trade.China's enterprises' direct investment grow rapidly,which highlights the deficiencies of capacity of solving problem in reverse logistics, increasing needs of the theory of multinational companies' reverse logistics network too.Because the study on reverse logistics is new,for multi-national corporations,it also relates to the knowledge such as international trade,development strategy for multinational companies,so the research on reverse logistics of multi-national corporations is rare.The General theory of reverse logistics and the characteristics of reverse logistics of multinational enterprises are the basic and point for the research of multinational enterprises' reverse logistics network.In the paper,the study of reverse logistics network for multinational corporations has three steps.First of all,it was about reverse logistics and reverse logistics network,such as concept of reverse logistics,processes,drivers,characteristics and types of structure and points out that the selection of network structure,outsourcing and self-supply,site selection methods are the key to build a reverse logistics network.The second step analyses the conditions and meanings for multinational corporations to implement reverse logistics. The duty of the manufacturers required by environmental protection laws and regulations and experience in logistics organization are the conditions.General theoretical model for multinational companies' reverse logistics which based on the analysis of the status quo and obstacles is set up in the third step.
