Chinese hotel industry is moving to mature phase, so hotel products bring homogenization of highly competition. The theme hotel becomes the new darling of the hotel industry with the times arriving. Theme hotels are famous for there culture. Hoever, the study on there typical characteristic, the culture, is at a low level at present. Moreover, in terms of theme hotel development, they become a mere formality. Thus, concern on the building of theme hotel atmosphere is increasing. With the hotel industry moving into a higher stage of development and levels of the transition period, it is important in both theory and pratical guiding to study theme hotel, hich is a main product in future, and theme hotel culture, which is the core of theme hotel competition.The paper discussed the theoretical basis, the Experence Economy, the theory basis on building theme hotel culture at first, and defined the concept of theme hotel, theme hotel cultural atmosphere and the building of theme hotel cultural atmosphere. According to analysis of the status of domestic hotel culture, the paper also pionted out problems and causes of buiding theme hotel culture in our country. The body part proposed the building principle and basic mentality of the theme hotel culture atmosphere. First of all, we can creat a psychological impact on customers by using the ancient and modern culture to create an unique cultural atmosphere in the choice of theme and hotel name. The second place, we are aim to enjoy the customers from the vision. It is important to creat atmosphere by using decorative culture, hearing culture, food culture, dress culture. In addition to the above measures which aim to implement a series of characteristics to meet customers' experiencing special culture damand, at the moment, we need to create a people-oriented management culture in order to enable staff to serve customers better. Finally the paper analysies the first theme hotel - Shenzhen Venice hotels in china, so that we can find the factors which play an important role in building theme hotel cultural atmosphere and find the way to further development.
