Research On Countermeasures In The Development Of MICE Tourism In Hefei

MICE(Meeting,Incentive ,Convention, Exhibition) ,a newly emerging service industry and 21st century's sunrise industry, has the huge opportunity and the development potential. MICE tourism,one of the prevalent tourism types,having great economic and social potentiality and favorable development prospects,is called"gem on the imperial crown"and has become a spotlight of tourism development and tourism academic research. MICE tourism has also boost economic growth. How to seize this opportunity promoting Hefei City's economic development and cultivating Hefei City becoming a centre of the whole province will be getting very important significance.This paper expounds the connotations, kinds, characteristics of MICE tourism and reveales MICE tourism products and operation patterns .It also concludes the present situation and development process of MICE tourism in home and abroad which establish the foundation of studying the development of Hefei's MICE tourism.Based on the present situation, problem analysis, competition valuation and SWOT analysing conclusion in Hefei City, the paper carries out MICE tourism's countermeasures studying.
