Study On The Development Strategy Of Xiamen Torch's Hi-tech Industrial Clusters

In the background of Economic Globalization and Regional Economic Industrialization,the hi-tech industry has become an important driving force for the development of the world's economy.More and more focus is put forward on the study of regional economy through the study of Industrial Cluster of high-tech Industrial Development Zone.Ever since its establishment in Dec.30,1990,Xiamen Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone has experienced 20-years high development,thus,formed into three pillar industries,including optoelelectronics industry,electric power & electric apparatus industry and information technology industries,as well as the hi-tech industrial clusters integrating medicine,software with new material industries.However,there still exists some problems in the development of the Xiamen Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone's Industrial Cluster,which should not be ignored.Adopting the method of SWOT,this article mainly analyzes the weaknesses,opportunities and challenges existing in the Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone based on the thorough survey on the current status of Xiamen Torch and put forwards some proposals for the development strategy of Xiamen Torch's hi-tech industrial clusters.This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapterâ… is for introduction.It mainly focuses on the purpose and significance of the study and introduces the related concepts and the clues of the development of industry cluster theory as well as the study objective and methods.Chapterâ…¡are industry cluster theory and its application in high-tech zones,It mainly focuses on the formation of industrial clusters,High-tech Industrial Development Zone Industrial Cluster Development in three phases theory,the major advantage of industrial clusters competitive,the problems existing in High-tech Zone development,the effective channel to increase the hi-tech zone's competitiveness and sustainable development.Chapterâ…¢introduced the development of Xiamen Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone,and its existing problems.Chapterâ…£,proposes the suggestions for Xiamen Torch Hi-tech Zone Industrial Cluster Development Strategy by SWOT analysis through the survey on its current industrial clusters.
