Along with the arrival of knowledge-economy which becomes an important productivity, the management of the knowledge have been in the position of utilizing knowledge and innovation because they have mastered advanced technologies and culture, and making the knowledge realize value and also increase the value, and it becomes the key to forming and developing enterprises' core competitiveness.Therefore, the management of the knowledge staff becomes the key point for human resource in enterprises. And how to use more effective way to motivate these employees is also a very important issue and highly being noticed by entrepreneurs and specialists. With the development of social economy and increasing level of peoples' life, they have higher requirements for their living conditions and surroundings. Thus, the speed of development for building decoration industry is growing very rapidly. However this sector needs less knowledge work relatively, the competition is very fierce. For example, W Decoration Company was incorporated in 2000, after ten years' development, it becomes No 1 within this sector, and how to keep the pace of the development, fully mobilizing employees' creativeness and activities and maximizing human resource, it becomes a question.And this article is based on motivation theory, combined with W company's characteristics and the current statues of construction and building decoration industry, through discussions with people and pool survey, analyzing the issue of motivation among the knowledge employees, and probe into the following five factors which exert impact on employees in company, such as 1) salary 2) personal growth and development 3) work itself 4) work conditions within company and 5) work conditions without company.Combined with these five factors and the company's real situations, point out the principle to be followed for the management of salary, professional career, and put forward some suggestions and measures for improvement in the way of motivation.
