| University-run enterprises in China have made up for inadequate funding for education, improved the school's operating environment, and provided a certain amount of material base and economic support for universities. With the continuous development of the market economy, the conflicts between the development model of school-run enterprise and the new economic operation mechanism are being gradually revealed. Unclear property rights, chaotic management, regardless of school and enterprise, unclear system, a series of issues, has seriously hampered the further development of enterprises of colleges and universities. Thus, we should not only affirm the role of university business, but also note these problems of college enterprises. In order to solve these problems, we should develop university enterprise using new ideas, reform and manage the enterprises of colleges and universities with the regulatory approach and adapt them to the development of socialist market economy.Considering of above situation, the author selected an enterprise from many enterprises for designing the reform program. This enterprise (L University-run enterprises) is a relatively small size and its management is relatively backward. The purpose of this study is able to aid the L-run enterprises overcome the difficulties of operation and management and avoid the direct risk to run the business.This paper firstly introduced the reality and the theoretical background of university-run enterprise reform, and analyzed the basic situation and the problems of L University-run enterprises. The author learned some experience from the other university-run enterprises, and conducted a reform design by application of the theory of business organization management, strategic management, human resources management and other modern management, combining with the reality of the L University. This paper aims to establish a modern enterprise system based on the corporate governance structure within the university-run enterprise. In order to ensure the successful implementation of the program, the author also suggested some safeguard measures. This study can offer some clues for the development of L university-run enterprises, moreover, give some reference for the similar school-run enterprises. |
