| Agricultural economic growth has been already the focus of research. In terms of different historical periods and development phases, economists give various explanations about the source of agricultural growth. However, researchers have not reached relatively comprehensive conclusions due primarily to the complexity of agricultural growth. Based upon the previous research, this paper will make an attempt to perform the research in this aspect. The objective of the paper is aimed at settling the issue of dominating factors of agricultural economic growth since the reform and opening-up policy in China. The method of growth factor analysis is one of econometric analysis approaches, which dates back to the 1950s. Again, based on Neoclassical Economic Growth Theory, this approach can effectively describe the influencing factors of economic growth mainly through regression analysis. On the basis of agricultural economics theory and economic growth theory, firstly, we will summarize the literature review and construct general analysis frame of dominating factors accounting for agricultural growth, and carry out an theoretical analysis. Secondly, in view of theoretical analysis and Cobb-Douglas production function, we establish a model of influencing factors explaining agricultural growth. Thirdly, much research has taken thirty-one provinces as case studies, however, in the present paper, we select twelve provinces with high agricultural output value. In that case, we can center the research objectives as a result of relatively high similarities of these agricultural provinces and put forward some more valuable and effective countermeasures. Lastly, we adopt more advanced panel-data unit root test and co-integration and secure the reliability of regression results because of greater efficiency. |
