The Economic Life Of Herdsmen In The Process Of Moedernizations

Economic life is a main subject of social cultural anthropology study. The causes that affect economic life are mainly internal cause and external cause. The internal cause is caused by the internal changes of the society, and external cause is caused by changes of natural environment and social environment, such as the basis on which traditional culture forms, changes of ecological environment which change relatively and stably, migration of population, contact with other ethnic group, and changes of political system. On the point of the above mentioned theory, Hugjiltu Gacha, Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia as a case, this paper analyzes and studies the course of life changes in this Gacha from the time New China was established, on this basis, and explores the current situation, problems and affecting factors of economic life of the herdsmen since the time of open-door policy, and studies the trend of livestock farming producing way in new period and some problems on how to improve the herdsmen's income and living standard.This paper consists of introduction, main content (three chapters), and conclusion.In introduction part, the author gives an entire and brief introduction, including the reason of selecting this topic, presentation of the problems, related research and review, the purpose and meaning of the topic and research method.In chapter one, geographic position of Hugjiltu Gacha, its ecological environment, the form of the Gacha, description of reform of livestock farming system and course of herdsmen economic life from 1959 to 1982.In chapter two, present herdsmen social economic life and economic condition (herdsmen income and outcome).In chapter three, difficulties that herdsmen face and the reasons of their difficulties, and author's advice for the herdsmen.In conclusion, the author concludes the basic theory in this paper, and illustrates the practical meaning of this research, and helpful to the people to think of the changes of the economic life, affecting factors and future prospect of Mongolian herdsmen in pasturing area in Inner Mongolia.
