Labor relations is the most basic social relations in the economic life, and its harmonious and stable relation with the community's political, economic and cultural. With the "harmonious society" and "Scientific Outlook on Development", private enterprises developed rapidly and have become an important component of China's socialist market economy. From "China Statistical Yearbook 2009" and learned that private enterprises absorbed 89.6% of national employed person in 2008,and it made a great contribute to the national economic development and social stability. On the other hand, while affirming the positive role of private enterprises and encourage its growth development, there are still many problems can not be ignored in the labor relations. From a practical perspective, with the vigorous development of private enterprises, labor relations has not been effectively improved, but showed signs of getting worse. When the influx of foreign-funded enterprises in China, its advanced management ideas and models are competition and challenges for private enterprises, and there is a clear weakness which private enterprises in competition with foreign-invested enterprises.Since previous studies focused on labor relations in a single enterprise or industry, labor relations in private enterprises analysis only focused on their own development and construction, and less involved a comparison of two types of enterprises and lacked benchmarking to promote it's development. In this paper, I use the previous studies for reference, and compare labor relations in different types of enterprises in Sichuan Province to identify similarities and differences, and sum up foreign-funded enterprises advantage for private enterprises, and thus form a new starting point to study labor relations in enterprises.
