Since reforming and opening, privately owned economy of Xiamen gets rapid development,the member proportion of employees in the private enterprise in the total number of employeeshas been increasing year by year, private enterprises become an important strength gradually inpromoting economic growth. Therefore, the Municipal Party Committee&Government ofXiamen Attach Great Importance to Constructing harmonious labor relations in privateenterprises. In recent years, Xiamen has made gratifying achievements in the construction ofharmonious labor relations in private enterprises, the main performance are: continue to improvethe minimum wage standards, gradually perfect the system of social security and labor rightsprotection ways, the Creation of Harmony enterprises and harmonious industrial park carried outin an orderly manner. Constructing harmonious labor relations in private enterprises, which hasgreat significance in sustainable development of Xiamen City’s economy, promotion the healthydevelopment of the private enterprise and social harmonys in Xiamen City, which is a greatproject of bring benefits to the workers.The existing problems of Xiamen private enterprise’s labor relationship in Xiamen aremainly manifested in labor contract is not ideal and labor relationship is not standardized; laborremuneration is generally low and the phenomenon of wage arrears still exist; long workinghours, bad labor protection and working conditions; social security system should be furtherimproved. Therefore, efforts should be made to find the existing problems of the profound cause.At the same time, boldly draw lessons from the United States, Germany and Japan, learning theirsuccessful experience in the adjustment of labor relations, and to the Marx labor relations theoryand contemporary labor relations theory as a guide, exploring and constructing thecountermeasures of Xiamen harmonious labor relations in private enterprises: The privateenterprise must strengthen the construction of enterprise culture, strengthen the sense of socialresponsibility and to implement people-oriented management mode, play the body role in theharmonious labor relations; labor should constantly improve their own culture, legalconsciousness and the occupation skill, and develop their occupation morality, in order to lay thefoundation for the realization of their own labor rights; the government should continue tostrengthen building the labor legal system, strengthen labor supervision and perfect the threeparty coordination mechanism, do well harmonious society facilitator and organizer of the role of trade unions should increase the strength offormation, correctly perform oneself function and tostrengthen their own construction, and truly become the protector of worker’s interests.
