In recent years, with the emphasis on environment and energy issues from our station, the requirements of transparent insulation coating is increasing gradually. However,it’s because the ordinary glass has a weak barrier of the infrared, the indoor temperature will rise up for 3~5℃ in the sunlight in summer and will also increase the consumption of air conditioning and electricity. Furthermore, insulation products as existing coated glass and various heat-reflective film have some problem of high price, short life, complex preparation, large investment in equipment, having a low marketing dgree. Indium tin oxide nanoparticles(ITO)which has a good spectral selectivity, can be used as translucent insulating nanomaterials. It can be added into the resin to made for the transparent insulation coating, and coating on the substrate(glass)surface to get ITO transparent insulation coating. In this paper, the research of the ITO transparent insulation coating synthesis can be list as three aspect as follow:The silicone-modified acrylic resin has synthesis successfully with the method of single continuous dropping. The resin were characterized by infrared spectroscopy(IR), scanning electron-microscopy(SEM), thermogravimetry(TG), Ultraciolet-visible absorption spectrometry(UV-VIS),etc. Appropriate process parameters were optimized, and discussed the factors such as hard and soft monomer ratio, the content of initiator, the content of silane coupling agent, the aging temperature and curing temperature of the resin that influence on the stability, particle size, morphology of the resin. In addition, the basic performance of the coating such as hardness, adhesion, water resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and so on were characterized in detail. The research revealed that the silicone modified acrylic resin with excellent and stable performance can be prepared successfully when the hard and soft monomer ratio was 1.2, the content of initiator and silane modifier was 0.6% and 1.5%,aging temperature was 80℃。In addition, the coating that cured at 120℃ in an oven for 120 mins, have the hardness as 6H,adhesion as 1,and the water resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance were all meet the national standard. In this paper, ITO slurry was perepared by a mechanical polishing-ultrasonic dispersion method. Impact factor of the slurry performence were discussed, including different solvents, different kind and content of silane coupling, dispersant and ultrasonic dispersion time. The result show that ITO aqueous slurry with excellent and stable performance can be prepared successfully when the p H was 3, the content of KH560 modifiers and PVP dispersant were 2% and 2.5%, the ultrasonic dispersion time was 15 mins. Futhermore, ITO butyl acetate phase slurry with minimum diameter at 85 nm can be prepared successfully when the content of KH570 as modifiers and titanate coupling agent as dispersant were all 2%, and the ultrasonic dispersion time was 30 mins. Finally, the films were prepared through coating ITO slurry which was combined with silicon-modified acrylic resin on the slide glass substrate. In the meantime, the influence of coating process, the ratio of slurry and resin, ultrasonic dispersion time on ITO coating was discussed. The composite coating were characterized by UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy. Simultaneously, the effect of different dispersant content from slurry thickness of coating on the UV-VIS-NIR spectral selective were investigated, and simulated heat insulation test on homemade device. The research revealed that the ITO coating can be prepared successfully through ITO slurry which was ultrasonic resonance for 15 min and stir with matrix resin; The transmittance of visible light of ITO transparent insulation coating was 85% when the transmittance of infrared was less than 10%, and the maximum insulation temperature difference can be reach at 15℃ from the analog insulation equipment.
