| House is the most fundamental in all architecture types. House industry has become one of consumer hot spots in China's economy. And it is developing as a pillar industry. This will for sure excert significant and profound influence upon the progress in China's social and economic scene.The study of Chinese architects upon the requirements from house users and house modes is at a less degree than their western counterparts, resulting in house design behind their ever-increasing material and spiritual needs. This situation is considerably hindering house developments at a fast and healthy manner. The present paper analyzes the changes in housing developments and modes within the social and economic framework in China today, presents the corresponding changes in house design concept, its design system and looks into the possible development trend in the future.This paper works cut different house problems based on the present situation of Chinese house. It then deals with the influence of requirement and mode upon house development trend from the aspects of house essence, house user requirement and house mode.
