Combining with the project of Network-based Manufacturing Experimental System by JiuJiang Mechanical and Electronic Research Constitution, this paper focuses on the development of cell controller in network-based manufacturing experimental system.The main contents are as follow: Completing the designing thought based on object-oriented and function module; Establishing a systematic structure and function model based on network environment which meet these requirements of reconfiguration, reuse and expansion; Deeply analyzing the strategy of cell controller's workshop scheduling; Designing several kinds of simple and effective dynamic workshop scheduling strategy which based on elementary task property; On the basis of analyzing relative software and hardware standard, making a research on the integration technology for solving the problem of the integration of NC system which running under the DOS; Researching and development Winsock-based remote monitoring so as to realize the real time on-line and remote monitoring.Considering the demands of Jiujiang Vocational College, a prototype of cell controller has been developed and implemented.
