With the development of computer science, more and more solid semiconductor memory has been used in the flight data recorder system. ABH-2 flight data recorder and it's testing equipments depend on import.The flight information recorded in the flight data recorder is of much importance to the analysis of the plane condition. The traditional testing equipments of ABH-2 have many limitations, such as inconvenience and long-time cost. Therefore we decide to develop a flight data recorder's test-bed system. The test-bed of ABH-2 is an important equipment for ABH-2 to be inspected and maintained.The research and development of the test-bed system is described in this paper. At first, the knowledge related to the task are introduced, including the concepts of flight data system,ABH-2 product and The flight data trans-recorder ground equipment ,the product's principle and hardware structure.In this paper the designation and actualization of the test-bed system is introduced in details. First, the hardware system design is describe, practicability and credibility is the leading goal in the designing work. According to the real requirement we selected the high quality enquirements.Subsequently describing the design and application of the software. In the DOS operating system, using BorLand C++3.1, the Object Oriented Design and modularization design means have been used in the development of the whole software. The software has powerful and friendly man-machine interface. In this part, the principle and the key technologies were describe, such as the application of 8254 timer and interrupt, graphics man-machine interface technology, the signal simulation of the flight data recorder.The last part of this paper is the brief summarize.
