With the development of computer technology and network communication technology, the domestic manufacturing industry is gradually toward the network, integration, agilely and intellectualized direction. Because of its unique complexity, discrete manufacturing industry makes MES application benefit unrewarding, real-time data acquisition has been the bottleneck faced by the MES system。digital manufacturing workshop integrated management system design philosophy is for the MES and equipment level provides an integrated data collection and information exchange platform, thereby enhancing the data in real time. This for discrete manufacturing enterprise network is of great significance to the process.Data acquisition is the MES system's basic element, how to capture the dynamic production site of the workpiece, the first thing to each numerical control equipment to design a data acquisition device so that workers can collect real-time data entry into it; the next question is how to achieve data transfer, namely, data acquisition device with the host computer system can communicate with each other in real time, through the data acquisition modules with the embedded serial port connection to the server, so that each collector have a unique IP address and port, and then United into the Ethernet.In this paper, the hardware used AT89S52 microcontroller as the control CPU, the use of Embedded Serial Server Module NE-4110S-P as a bridge. Software components use Visual Basic and SQL Server2000 as the system development environment, make VB Host Computer software development tools, C language for Embedded Serial Server Module program development tools, based on the TCP network communication protocols, research and development of the host computer system platform and data acquisition device.
