On Civil Servants' Political Intellectualization And Approach To It

It is an innovative work that politics intellectualization is brought forward and researched as a new concept. It widens politics' research sight, and deepens politics' research levels. Politics intellectualization deals with how scientific political knowledge is built, created, accumulated, popularized, transformed and put into practice with great significance theoretically and practically.Scientific development and harmonious society have been goals of human being all the time, especially in the present era. Achieving these goals depends on building, popularizing and transforming scientific political knowledge and that all members of society understand, command and put it into their political practice ,and this must be supported by politics intellectualization.Civil servants are executants of state power and official duties, therefore their level of politics intellectualization exerts a direct influence on their competence and performance of political practice, national identity of people towards the country and legitimacy status of themselves.This thesis studies the present status of politics intellectualization of civil servants, based on a sample survey of some servants in a representative certain city. The analysis shows that civil servants' politics intellectualization of our nation stays at low levels, featuring low political theoretical understanding, inferior capacity in political practice, low role quality, dim sense of service, deficient political engagement and lack of right concept of power.This paper comparatively analyzes China and western developed countries in their different practices of politics intellectualization on the assumption that Civil Service Training is a direct and effective approach to improving politics intellectualization of civil servants, and puts forward some measures to achieve the goal, on the basis of the results of the survey.
