Study On The Effects Of Capacity Of Self-understanding On The Employment Competitive Power Of Higher Vocational College Students

Due to comparatively late starting and lagging behind develop-ment of higher vocational education in China,as well as personal a-nd social factors, the employment of the lager number of higher v-ocational college graduates makes people worried. There are compli-cated influences on their employment competitive power. The poors-elf-understanding is one of the root causes for higher vocational co-llege graduates'difficulty in obtaining employment. The article ate-mpts to find out the inner causal relationship between the employme-nt competitive power and self-understanding ability by investigaton of their status. It is shown that the crux influences of the lowerempl-oyment of the vocational college graduates are as follows:(1) the h igher vocatinal college students lack quite right and comprehend-sive self-understanding;(2) the employment concept of the higher vocatinal college students is irrationality; and (3) the talents-trainingmode in v-ocational colleges is unsuitability. Finally, some ideas andtactics wer eproposed to sovle the problem of low the employment competitive power due to self-understanding from three aspects, the student own quality development, the school reform and the joint efforts of famil-y and society. At first, guide students establish a correct outlook on self-understanding. (1) find their exact position on the road of advan-ce and change of obtain employment idea;(2) achieve roles switch and adapt as quickly as possible to my new world; and (3) have consciousness of humanity and create a congenial working atmospher-e.Second, vocational colleges should intensify internal self-reform efforts as facing market. The method to provide good external envi-ronment for the development of self-understanding is primarily to strengthen educationof self-understanding, construction of faculty tea-m, adjustment the structure of the specialized establishment and coo-peration between colleges and enterprises. At last, the society and family should treat higher vocational education correctly and make joint efforts. The thesis discusses from the government, society and family in order to provide good external environment for the devel- opment of self-understanding and enhanceing obtain employment com-petition ability.
