Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of Higher Vocational Students’ Employment Education

Higher vocational education is an important component of higher education in China. It undertakes an important mission of providing the highly skilled for our society. However with the large-scale recruit students in colleges, the problem of employment in higher vocational colleges becomes a problem of widespread concern. Now higher vocational colleges have a unique feature:it is difficult for the employment of the graduates. The flow of these students will cause the instability of the society. It raises urgent demands of strengthening and improving employment education.This thesis begins from the necessity of employment education in higher vocational colleges, analysis the problems in employment education, explores into the reasons of these problems, and suggests countermeasures in strengthening and improving employment education.Part1, the necessity of employment education in higher vocational colleges. This part analyses from students, colleges and society. The employment education in higher vocational colleges helps to the development of the students; helps to strengthening and improving the higher vocational education; helps to the adaptation of the market and the society.Part2,the problem of employment education in higher vocational colleges. First, as seen by the idea, the idea of employment education is a little traditional, ignores the career development planning, education for all-around development and creative education; Second, as seen by educational mode, it ignores specialty practice, social practice and campus cultural activities; Third, as seen by the educator, there are some problems in the educator’s knowledge, skill and comprehensive quality.Part3, the reason of those problems. Aiming at those problems, we trace to their source, and analysis the reason:the quick change of the jobs and requirements, ignoring of independence and importance in employment education, and the defects in the educators’recommending, training and managing.Part4, suggests countermeasures in strengthening and improving employment education. It comprises three parts:the career development planning for the students, cooperation between school and enterprise, the construction of campus culture in colleges, and attaching importance to double-qualified teaching body.
