Education is full of hopes and challenges in the 21century.The changeable society requires serious challenges to meet the demands of education.The governments around the world are paying great attention to the reform and development of education,as well as the training and quality improving of teachers.Teacher professional development increasingly becomes one of the focuses that people care for and one of the main themes of current education reform.Specialization is the root to promote the professional attachments and social values of teachers, which is also the objective requirement of the education development of teachers in our country.The research mainly discusses the problem of P.E teachers' specialization under the background of new course reform in China.The investigation analyzes the current status of the middle school P.E teachers' specialization in the cities of Jiangxi Province.Through literature method,questionnaire survey,expert interview,logical analysis and mathematical statistics method,the thesis conducts a multi-level discussion towards the existing problems of P.E teachers' specialization development under the background of new course reform in China,finds out the existing problems and brings forward solutions to settle the problems,which providing the theoretical support and practice guidance for the current specialization development of middle school P.E teachers.The conclusions are as follows:1.The professional title structure of middle school P.E teachers in the cities of Jiangxi Province is good,but the overall level of educational background structure is on the low side,with teachers of none graduate history,mainly undergraduates,even a few graduated from colleges and technical secondary schools,which definitely restricting P.E teachers' professional autonomy.2.While mostly gaining the advantages over P.E teaching and management abilities,a few middle school P.E teachers in the cities of Jiangxi Province are poorly in the professional attitude,value orientation and the relevant experience;The lack of P.E scientific and research ability, P.E education ability,creative ability,as well as life-long learning and self-development abilities cannot meets the demands of teacher specialization.3.In the cities of Jiangxi Province the middle school P.E teachers always labor under the situation of having no chances or gaining little chances of attending advanced studies.They are lacking of systematic training chances,which has become the obstacles and bottle-necks to improve the quality of teaching.4.The middle school P.E teachers in the cities of Jiangxi Province have not fully understood the general meaning of new course reform.During the training of new course,some of the participated teachers believe that there are troubles in the implementation of new course reform.5.In Jiangxi,The calculation towards rate of college entrance examination entering as well as the omission of entering rate calculation towards P.E program has greatly hindered the initiative of P.E teachers' specialization development.6.Although the middle school P.E teachers in the cities of Jiangxi Province are not keenly aware of the concept of teacher specialization, most of them consider it of greatly necessary to carry on the teachers' specialization development.The approach of specialization development identifies with professional academic group,local education institute and its school organization.7.The weak professional organization,overpressure of teachers, insufficient support from school leaders and lack of professional activities funds cause the limitation of time and space of professional activities of P.E teachers.In the process of new course reform,the practice of P.E teachers' specialization has undergone the spontaneous situation to the conscious stage.Teachers' principal status has been promoted.For the problems finding in the practice,the author has put forward the suggestions hoping to offer contributions to the specialization development of P.E teachers, as we all believe that "Teachers,only teachers,are the hope of the reform."...
