LEAN Production is a theory meets the requirements of modern manufacturing and management, whose core is to reduce even stop wastes and set up a flexible and efficient manufacturing system. With fast development of globe-economic integrated and modern information technology, Consumers'individual demand is increasing. More and more competitive market environment put up higher and higher demand for enterprises. Automobile companies are facing great challenge both in meeting customer's demand and products cost-control. To enhance level of China's auto makers'competition in domestic and aboard market, focus on their main business, it is suggested that enterprises should introduce and apply advanced LEAN Production to improve its level of manufacture and production management.Although SGMW has been a fast runner in mini-car industry in last years, which is still facing heated competition in automobile industry, SGMW developed the strategy target of the Third Wave which is to be decisive leader in domestic mini-car industry, to demonstrate our significance in the global competition, to duplicate SGMW operation modules and teamwork all over the map, to become a passenger vehicle manufacturer leader and to spread the mode and culture of SGMW globally.Combining with the developing of LEAN Production theory and practices, it is expressed the main points for applying of LEAN in SGMW, which based on analyses and experiences about introducing LEAN Production to SGMW. The final target of the introducing are improving the level of management in manufacturing, increasing production efficiency, decreasing manufacturing costs as SGMW can and enhancing the market competition of the products of SGMW.
