Mode Of Operation And Its Management System Of The Virtual Enterprise Research

Virtual Enterprise (VE) is a temporary Internet-based organization, which is established by physical enterprises aiming to fulfill short-term market demand and to reach common goals of economical benefits on the basis of information and Internet by some external resources.There are two research implications in the paper, one is on theoretical aspect, it tries to establish a general research framework, and takes deep insight into generations, features, cooperative means, life cycles, operational and managerial modes of VE; the other is on practical aspect, the paper gives some management advices according to concrete VE operational modes, and hopes to provide some guidance on VE managerial practice via the case study. Comparison analyses, combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, case study are employed to analyze basic concepts, operational modes, management, and practical implications.Research structure and contents are designed and arranged according to the logical orders of abstract-concrete and theory-practice. Section 1 is the introduction. Section 2 is literature review of VE-related theories. Section 3 highlights some points of basic theories of VE. Section 4 analyzes several possible VE operational modes. Section 5 makes some brief statements on VE management system. Section 6 utilizes a case to prove some VE theories and to attain some development suggestions. The last is the conclusion. Among all of above, the main part is analyses of operational modes and management system of VE.Based on the whole analysis, the conclusion is deduced in the end. Firstly, roles of single members of VE and individual contributions should be coordinated with performance of the whole VE. Main point of constructing VE operational mode is to set up valid operational mechanisms to enhance VE performance. Secondly, management persistiveness usually transforms from explicit to tacit management along with disappearance of VE. How to deal with management persistiveness is key to reconstruction and benign operation of VE. Finally, it is essential to highlight VE management for small-medium garment manufacturers when using virtual operational modes, it is critical to select suitable paths of virtual operations to business success.
