China E-commerce Logistics Mode Selection

The 21st century is an information age and electronic commerce will become a tendency of business activity in this information age. As a brand-new business operation way, electronic commerce provides businessmen a new method to manage their commercial transactions and will become a potential growth power to impetus the development of the world economy. One of the advantages of electronic commerce is that it can simplify the service flowing and reduce the transportation cost greatly. But the establishment and maintenance of its cost superiority must be based on a reliable and highly effective operation of the logistics.China, as the most important developing country in the world, has provided electronic commerce with a vast space to develop. However, with the fast development, there also came out some problems in the aspects of network technology, payment online, policy laws and regulations, and so on. Among these problems, logistics was a "bottleneck" one that restricts the development of China's electronic commerce directly. For enterprises using electronic commerce, different situations mean different logistics choices. And when choosing a logistics choice, the logistics mode should be considered firstly.On the basis of previous researches about electronic commence, this paper studies how enterprises choose logistics modes when using electronic commence, analyses the advantages and disadvantages of logistics modes of electronic commence today's China, puts forward some evaluation methods for our country's electronic commence enterprises, and at last proposes some advice for China's electronic commence logistics. This paper is organized as follows:The first chapter introduces the background knowledge, the functions of electronic commence logistics, the realistic significance of studying electronic commence logistics, and the research method and structure of the whole paper.The second chapter defines the related concepts of electronic commence logistics, elaborates the advantages and disadvantages of logistics modes of electronic commence in our country, analyses the problems facing by the electronic commence logistics enterprises, and discusses the necessary of logistics mode choice.The third chapter takes the Min Lin Zheng Guang He as the case to discusses the methods and factors needed to consider when commence logistics enterprises choose a logistics mode, the synthesis scores method for logistics decision-making.The fourth chapter, on the basis of the previous discussion, puts forward some proposals for electronic commence and logistics from the perspective of the whole country and the industry.The last chapter draws some conclusions and proposes the prospects for further studies.
