Lu Canal City With Tourism Resources Integration Of Research And Development

Lu Canal is the middle section of the Jing-Hang Canal, it linked Beijing with Yangtze-Huai River. From Yuan to Qing Dynasty, it was the necessary waterway of the transportation. Every year, thousands of salt and grain transported here, so its g position became very important. Today, though Lu Canal's transportation function no longer exists, it has rich tourism resources, the function of this aspect is more and more important. For these years, many cities along Lu Canal has began to improvement and program these resources. But most of them only considered through the angle of'rehabilitating', the designing is short of new ideas, the historic and cultural connotation is lack of full revealing. The function transformation from transportation to tourism hasn't completed.This paper inherited elder generation's result of their studying and is on the foundation of controlling cultural heritage dates and on-the-spot investigations, using multifold theory of management, economic, history and geography and folklore and the methods of synthetic study, case study and comparative study. This paper commenced from the present condition analysis of the Lu Canal's tourism recourses, analyzed the problems of this river's current developing, and conformed these resources, then studied the macroscopic and microscopic environment of Lu Canal, inquired into its tourism market characteristic and subdivided them. At last, localized the developing target market of the Lu Canal. Besides, this paper is on the foundation of the SWOT analysis of Lu Canal's tourism resources, established the developing strategic system. In the end, in view of the strategic, statemented some concrete measures through two aspects of Lu Canal's tourism product developing and its marketing.This paper's point lies in inquiring into the concrete paths that to suit the developing of Lu Canal's city banding. It has not only important reality and practicing meaning, but also to drawing on the experience of more and more upsurged activity of'Canal applying to be the inheritance of the world','south-north water transmission'and especially the moderating economy developing of the Southwest area of Shandong Province.
