The wisdom of our ancestors had created the brilliant painted pottery culture in China. The painted pottery basin of dancing hand-in-hand from Datong County, Majiayao Culture, Qinghai Province, as a relics of in Neolithic period, which is a great significance to people research on the prehistoric art. There were many scholars have paid a lot of time and effort to studied its image. These researches involved in dancer's hairstyle, clothes, sex and dancing elements, etc. The basin relate to many aspects of prehistoric society. In this paper, the Multi-angle study of the painted pottery basins is based on existing research, including the form of image, the meaning and so on. This paper tell us that prehistoric art show the style of the ancient society and not purely a product of aesthetics. The ultimate goal of the article aims to explain that prehistoric art to the performance of the appearance of prehistoric society there are many reasons. First of all, there are close relationship between prehistoric art and cultural. Second, it can express the meaning of prehistoric culture. Third, people can understand the meaning of prehistoric art. These reasons made people to understand the secret of ancient society.
