Objective Revise Psychological stress events questionnaire at ordinary times for border soldiers in the compulsory military service period, research their usual stress events, stress reaction and affect factors comprehensively and systematically. Carry on thorough analysis of soldiers’ normal stress event types, stress reaction, and the main factors influencing the psychological stress, to establish normal psychological stress system model, analyze the role of influence factors of stress between the stress events and stress reaction, on the basis of which propose the prevention and intervention strategies for psychological stress, provide a reference basis for guiding their psychological stress regulation. Methods extract 500 soldiers in Guangxi frontier guards as questionnaire revised objects, mainly use the questionnaire survey method and interview method to revise the questionnaire; extract 500 soldiers in Yunnan frontier guards as formal testing objects, choice the revised psychological stress events questionnaire at ordinary times for border soldiers, self consistency and congruence scale(SCCS), automatic thoughts questionnaire(ATQ),traits coping style questionnaire, perceived social support scale(PSSS) and psychological stress self-evaluation test(PSET) to measure. Use Epidata3.13.1 for data entry; use SPSS18.0 for statistical data analysis; use Amos18.0 for establishing structural equation model. Results 1.The reliability coefficient of the revised questionnaire is between 0.74-0.94, the correlation coefficient between factors and total is between 0.47-0.81;2. Border soldiers’ main stress events is daily work, relationships, there are significant differences in army life adaptation and future problems at the length of military service, the body disease and economic problems have less impact.3. Yunnan frontier soldiers’ psychological stress level is higher;4. Yunnan frontier soldiers got higher scores on social support, belong to high social support condition, in addition, they have some problems on other factors.4. The frontier soldiers’ normal psychological stress system model is a dynamic balance system, part of psychological stress events directly affect the stress reaction, the other part through the intermediary effect of self harmonious, automatic thinking, social support, coping styles indirectlyaffect stress reaction. Self-harmony is the core of stress intermediary variable, directly affect the automatic thinking, social support and coping styles. Conclusions The revised psychological stress events questionnaire at ordinary times for border soldiers has good reliability and validity to be a reliable tool for measuring the normal stress events; to effectively control the psychological stress level, we need to start from the main stress source, carry out targeted guidance for automatic thought, coping styles and so on, promote self harmony, to achieve the virtuous cycle of psychological stress system.
