Study Of The Relationship Between The Development Of Township Enterprises And Farmers' Income Changes

Since 1978, TVE have made large contributions to national economy and social development, especially to the changes of farmers' income. Development of TVE leads the factors of production in rural areas to be non-agricultural, which gives impetus to regulation of industrial structure and immigration of labor surplus in rural areas. With more opportunities to employment for the farmers in the non-agriculture, farmers' income becomes to be pluralism. Following the increase of farmers' income, farmers' traditional identity and status change.But in recent years, with the transition of external factors and internal growth mode, TVE afford less opportunities for farmers' employment and slower the growth of farmers' income. The thesis is to do research for the development of TVE and increase of farmers' income.Part one: Study the contributions have been made by TVE in the past twenty years. TVE are the important channel of absorption of labor surplus in rural areas and the primary way to increase farmers' income, also are the principle reason for the changes of farmers' identities and status. We may know from the study, there are close relations between TVE and farmers' income.Part two: Analyze the internal relations between TVE and farmers' income with theory. Firstly, from the farmers' total income in the past twenty years, it can be found that non-agriculture income increase very fast. Secondly, from the income structure and increment structure, it can be found that non-agriculture income is the large component of total income, also, the increase of total income is contributed to the increase of non-agricultural income mostly. Thirdly, make further study from industrial structure and employment structure. Fourthly, analyze the ability of absorption of labor surplus with the data of fixed assets and the workers number in TVE. Fifthly, do further investigation for decomposition of labor absorption. At last, analyze the differences and reasons of farmers' income in three economic zones.Part three: Do the research for the present situations of the development of TVE and farmers' income. After that are the reasons for the situations.Part four: Put forward one train of thought to develop TVE and increase farmers' income. It should integrate the development of TVE and urbanization. With this thought, raise the specific measures.
