E-S-O(Environment-Strategy-Organization) Theory tells us that only when the three key factors accords, can an enterprise obtain high benefit and reach the target.Strategic management can help organizations to make better strategies through a more systematic strategic management. More and more organizations are decentralizing the strategic-management process.In this thesis, the author elaborates the three developing stages of CBG(China Base Group). i.e. large scale investment-organizational expansion. What has happened to CBG?Through careful study, the author has found some defects in CBG's organization structure. The parent company binds subsidiaries tightly just like many boats linked by chains. The group is very weak against risk. Such a model of organizational structure is very dangerous. The author suggests that CBG should develop a new strategy according to the new environment, and the new strategy should be able to adapt to the organization. With the new strategy CBG can better allocate its resources and utilize them effectively. The author suggests that CBG should build a new internal organizational structure, and the subsidiaries be independent companies, then CBG and these companies form a strategic alliance. Though further transformation of operating mechanism, enhancing capacities of development and accelerating the process of building modern enterprise system, the author sure that more achievements will be obtained . |
