Northeast Urban-rural Integration Process And Strategy

The paper uses the theories and methods of relevant subjects, such as regional economic geography, economic geography, urban geography, urban economics, regional economics and sociology. Starting with researching and analyzing the concept of urban and rural integration, meaning, research methods significance and different understanding on the urban and rural relation which is at different stage in China and the West the author analyzes the changes of social structure and economic structure in China under the background of reformation and opening and market economy .The urban and rural relation in our country is moving towards the connection, merging and integration after experiencing separation and opposition. In urban and rural areas opposite dual-structure is being broken, economic production factors and population regional floating has begun to take shape. Urban and rural integration has formed in Coastal developed area with relatively high level. In addition the author analyze and summarize the motive force mechanism and responding mechanism of urban and rural.Combining with new changes on urbanization development trend in the past 20 years and the social economic links between urban and rural and space organizational form of the industry activity in Northeast China the author makes empirical analysis on the development characteristics about the integration process of each central city and peripheral countryside of coastal area middle part and hinterland in Northeast China and finds that the highest urban and rural integration level has reached 50% which presents a decreasing trend from south to north and from the coastal to the inland .Then the author analyzes the current characteristics existed problems and development trend in future .Comparing with the coastal areas in China the Northeast integration process level is relatively low . On the basis of comparative analysis the author further puts forward tactics on promoting the urban and rural integration process in order to offer direction and reference on merging urban and rural relation further and urban district division in Northeast China.
