Ningxia province is a developing region. Since carrying out the open policy and economic reform, it has always been a tough problem hampering the development of rural economy that the farmers' income of Ningxia province doesn't increase as fast as expected, though it does improve to some degree as that in other provinces. As a result, this problem affects the Social and economic development of Ningxia as well as that of the whole nation. Dominated by agriculture, Ningxia should focus its attention especially on the increase of farmers' income. At present, the agriculture and the rural economy of our country have entered a new phase of development. Some production once mailing great contribution to the rural economy has now less and less impact on the development of rural economy. It shows that the structure of rural economy needs reconstruction and the competence of competing in market needs improving. In such a situation, the income of the peasants is not likely to be kept on increasing. This ethical is about the analysis of Ningxia's economic development in the interests of the peasants in the region. In view of the income analysis of this area's peasants, I try to probe into the ways of increasing peasant's income. That is, we should give the rein to the role of the market demand, reform agricultural structure and develop the unique leading estate of this area. To achieve these, we should advance the development of economy by means of science and technology, increase the agricultural profit, enlarge the industries other than agricultural and quicken the transfer of labors in agriculture. This is the way of the ever-lasting development of agriculture and the reforming of the rural economy.
