What enterprise strategy solves is to keep on enterprise existence and development. In order to exist and develop, enterprise must acquire and maintain competitive advantage during competition. But in the "new economy" age, the future is filled with uncertainty; the environment fluctuation is astonished, so how to obtain competitive advantage is a core problem that strategy management must solve. This text launch the discussion from the strategy and enterprise relation, and joint together the cases description, adopting the logic and historic unify, combining with induce and deduce method, the author proceeds the theoretical investigation and practical analysis. This article bases on what the author read, in order to explore the root of sustainable advantage, from Porter,s advantage thought based on value chain analysis to advantage based on core competence which C.K.Prahalad and Gary Hamel put forward, they think that only the core competence is the root of enterprise sustainable advantage. This text is from the angle of business enterprise strategy to set out, integrate the front research result relevant to the strategy alliance, and draw the theory of core competence into the theoretical institutional of strategy alliance. According to the strategic view of core competence, the author set up the analysis frame of the alliance advantage, and point out that as a super-routine developing style, beyond doubt, strategy alliance may be a good form to lift our company's competence and improve their competitive advantage.
