During the process of emerging, developing, maturing and decaying of an organization, it will adapt itself to the changes of the external environment and internal organizational circumstances for its survival and development, so it must do some appropriate changes. By the research of organizational changes of Great-Wall Construction of China, this article provides an example for state-owned construction enterprises' organizational changes under the new position. It is important for state-owned construction enterprises to position itself appropriately so that they could have a definite object in view to do some organizational changes. Firstly, the article introduces the organizational changes ' background of the company, including the characteristics of the domestic and foreign building industry and the primary circumstances of the company. Secondly, it describes the primary process and content. The company brought forward the change plan on the basis of the analysis of the circumstances it faced. It analyzed the feasibility of the change plan and the resistances it fallen across probably. Then it found the ways to overcome the resistances, determined the change process and changed operation strategy, organizational structure, project management compensation management and internal audit. Finally, the article analyses the change process and content and points out the success and shortage.
