Shopping tourism is a special branch of tourism belongs to urban recreation system and is an important part of modem urban tourism. But in option of shopping tourism in our country, the absence of theoretical research and the lack of research to shopping tourism mode at present greatly restrict the function exertion of shopping tourism. So the author presents the approaches and the methods to build the shopping tourism which would meet travellers physical and mental demand and puts forward on ideal shopping tourism characters and substance in the view of shopping tourism.Compared with other tourism products, shopping tourism product puts an emphasis on shopping. So the thesis first analyzed the concepts of the tourism shopping and the tourism merchandise. On this basis, the thesis proposed shopping tourism theoretical research framework and defined interrelated conceptions such as shopping tourism developing mode. According to the analysis two consistent modes, the experiences of pedestrian street mode and Hong Kong mode, this thesis looks back the history of Yiwu China Commodities City and the feature of each stage and gives a further exploration about all kinds of essential factors of shopping tourism such as development courses, developing advantages, and forming mechanism. It summaries the shopping tourism mode of market-relying-on city as to utilize market goods and his industry advantages to develop shopping tourism, being supported by commodity market and under the government's guide, to drive the development of local travel industry. This mode focuses on the interaction between basic resources and market trends of shopping tourism form mechanism. This research specifies the four key influencing factors of destination-tourism merchandise, service, shopping area environment and urban recreation space. Then the mode is ameliorated by questionnaire investigating and SPSS statistical analysis. At last, by analysis of this example, the thesis think over existing questions in shopping tourism and provide resolutions.
