Low Growth Rate Of National Economic Development, Energy Consumption Based On Input-output Method,

The consumption of energy is more and more in china. But total reservation amount of energy is little. What's more, it can destroy environment to consume large amount of energy. So how to realize low growth of energy consumption becomes a very important problem.Firstly, necessity of realizing low growth of energy consumption is put forward. Secondly, some relevant theories about input-output method are discussed. They offer theoretical foundation for this paper. Secondly, two methods of realizing low growth of energy consumption are proposed, namely industry structure adjustment and resources substitute. Thirdly, how to realize low growth of energy consumption by them is researched. The calculation formula of the total consumption intensities of energy is given and it considers not only the direct energy consumption, but also the indirect energy consumption. Through it the requisition for industrial structure adjustment of low growth of energy consumption is given from the overall angle. In resources substitute, the influence of direct consumption change to energy consumption is given by a formula and a new method of realizing low growth of energy consumption through resources substitution is explored. Above-mentioned methods have carried on actual calculation and analysis through 1995 and 1997 input-output table of China 6 departments. The result of calculation indicates, the research approach put forward is effective and practical.
