City Outskirts, Police Station Police Optimal Allocation

Due to historical and current reasons, there exist many allocation problems of our police resources, such as the wastage of scarce resources, institutional imbalance and expedite exchange of manpower resources. Police allocation is an important task concerning the public security work and the establishment of the police force, which public security organs have been taking great efforts to perform. As grassroots units of Public Security, police stations are confronted with the challenges from economic development, population growth, urban development, and the environment of law enforcement, while police stations in combining areas of town and countries are facing more difficulties due to their own problems mainly from poor working conditions, loose prevention and control of crimes, and great working pressure. Therefore, how to reform to establish a new police operation mechanism and to maximize its effectiveness becomes an urgent problem to solve for the public security departments at all levels.Based on the current situation of Youzha Street Police Station, this article makes a careful study on the police allocation problems of the police stations in combining areas of town and countries, and offers some solutions and a new sight to the optimization of police allocation. In addition, it points out that police reform is a huge systematic project which cannot finish overnight but with innovative and creative spirit to realize sustainable development of public security.This article gives reasonable analyses and theoretical and practical proofs which can be a guide to grassroots police stations, esp. to the stations in combining areas of town and countries, to allocate their forces reasonably. We must take the strategic opportunities to deepen the reform and open up new paths to solve the problems which are hindering the sustainable development of our public security and which are worrying the people.
