Nowadays, many migrant workers rush into cities to live and work there. They are adapting to the new social mores and beliefs, with their former living styles and values. During this process of resocialization, there lies diversity within the colony. In the present study, a combination of both theoretical and empirical methods was adopted to investigate the migrant workers in zhengzhou city. In addition, the following suggestions are offered to solve the problems: contracting land policy, training for migrant workers, and social worker's intervention for mid-aged and old migrant workers; strenghening city infrastructure construction, caring migrant workers' daily life, and social worker's intervention for prime-aged migrant workers; reform of household registration system, strenghening city civilization recognition, and social worker's intervention for young and new generation migrant workers.
