The meaning of the word-modernity is extremely complex. Due to the diversity of the background, life style, and thinking model, the definition have been made by the different scholars. Marx stood in his own times, depended on angle of view of the existentialism and make the modernity explainition over again. Marx reviewed two fileds. In one filed, Marx proclaim the essence of the religion, he believe that liberation of the religion in the final analysis brought the liberation of the human, and that the value of the religion had been covered by the logic of the science, which made people feel uninterest in modern society. In other filed, Marx critically recviewed the theory of the national economics, he pointed out the alienation social phenomenon, and took about the theory of Capital, and opened out the fundamental contradiction of Capitalist. So we can see that the development of western modernity encountered lots of difficulty in spirit acspect or economic acspect. With the improvement of Capitalist, the capital staged an invasion in secret way. As a developing country, we should commited ourselves to overcome the contradiction of western modernity, opened up the own way of developing.
