It is not only the vital target of educational reform and development all over the world at present to construct the lifelong education system and the learning society, but also the inevitable demands of adapting the times.In this context, adult education is facing the challenges and opportunities. The effect of teachers' professionalization makes the professionalization of adult education to be the important theme; the professionalization of adult education is the core goal that adult education pursues all the time. Adult educator is the subject of adult education activities, is the pivotal strength of adult education development. Adult educator will attain the professional standard after engaging in the educational practice of several years; grow up to the adult educationist. Adult educationist is a realm of professional development for adult educator, but also a dynamic process.Lindeman, Knowles, Freire are famous adult educationists, who enjoy high reputation in the field of adult education, are the idles and models of adult educator. Three adult educationists attract the writer to study the professional growth; this dissertation presents the professional growth of three adult educationists by literature research method, digs out the dynamic factors that influence their professional growth, hopes for promoting the professional growth of adult educator in our country.This dissertation is divided into six parts, the first part is introduction, presents the origins of research, the literature review on the professional growth of adult educator and three adult educationist at home and abroad.The second part is the theoretical perspectives, includes the teachers' professional theory and career developmental theory that helps for analyzing the growth of three adult educationists.The third part presents the professional growth process of three adult educationists from the early life, the study experience, the career development, the life after retirement, is the integration of the literature materials systematically.The fourth part explores the dynamic factors based on the theory that urge them to grow up to adult educationists from the perspectives of family environment, school environment, working environment and personality characteristics.The fifth parts is the basic path of adult educationists, which is based on the depiction of the professional growth process and the analysis of the dynamic factors, the basic path of their professional growth is summarized as lifelong learning, educational practice and self-reflection.The sixth part is the enlightenment; the path of three adult educationists' professional growth gives some enlightenment to the professional growth of adult educators.
