The objects of Biology learning are biological phenomena and biological rule. Most biological phenomena appeared in high school can not observed by naked eye and imagined by words alone. Therefore, the illustrations in high school biology teaching has an irreplaceable role, teachers rational use of illustrations can provide a lot of biological information for students, help students develop the right biological concept, construct a reasonable biological knowledge. Illustration-teaching can enhance the visual fun and artistic of teaching. Illustrations also play an important role in develop the students'observation and intelligence. In order to improve the effectiveness of illustration teaching, we need to understand which kind illustration is easier for teaching, how to present illustrations can help students understand more, how to remember more accurate illustrations. Through investigation and experiments on the above issues a preliminary inquiry. The thesis uses the methods of literature research, investigation and experiment, act. This article can be divided into Research Analysis, Survey of Illustration-teaching, Strategy of illustration-teaching and Experiments.The first part is the status of illustration teaching. After researched the status of illustration teaching, I fond it was weak in Biology illustration-teaching. The number of article about illustration teaching is small. Through careful analysis I fond the major focal point are on illustration-function and combined the word and illustration organically. It was lack in illustration selection of criteria, illustrations showing the principle, illustrations and other details of the review of the method.The second part is illustrated survey of teaching. I read the literature and interviews based on the design and conduct a questionnaire survey. Most teachers think the illustration's primary role is to interpret the contents of text and explanation; there will be image conscious choice to enter into the teaching process. Teachers in the teaching process will be different according to the teaching content in a different time spent on illustrations, the use of different teaching methods. Photo problem is that students lose a fraction of the largest kinds of questions. Illustrations in the learning process has played a limited role, only some students will take the initiative to understand and remember the stages of the initiative to use illustrations assisted learning, active student learning using illustrations to get a higher test scores.The third part is illustrated teaching strategy optimization. The author first two parts of the illustrations on the basis of selection of teaching strategies proposed illustrations, illustration showing the strategy and illustration of memory strategies. Teachers should choose a higher quality visual effects and information illustrations; in the present illustrations should be knowledge-based bedding and presented in the order; in the memory stage, the memory can be used repeatedly, such as speech formulas have a better memory effect.The fourth part is the experimental section. I use the proposed strategy as the experimental variables in teaching high school in the experiment, experimental group and control group before and after the test results verify the proposed cross-comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the strategy.The fifth part is the conclusion. Conclusions of this study made a summary.The sixth part is a discussion and recommendations. Illustrated the significance of teaching were discussed, some suggestions for teachers, research and teaching illustrations prospect.
