| Education is the foundation of a nation, a people and a society. In 2007, the six normal universities directly under Ministry of Education in China began to implement free education to the teacher-training students, which was an important measure for the central committee to advance education development and education fairness. Implementation of this system is to form a strong atmosphere of truly respecting teachers and valuing education in the whole society, to make education truly as the most respectable business and to encourage more outstanding young to be lifelong education workers. This decision is of positive significance and implemented conscientiously with the cooperation of various aspects. Especially the six subordinate normal universities bearing this task responded positively. Since the policy "implementation measures for free teacher-training students in normal universities directly under Ministry of Education (for trial implementation)" issued by the general office of the state council in May,2007, this demonstration measure has constantly made new progress,4.5million free teacher-training students have been recruited in the last 4 years, the enrollment plan tilt to the middle and west parts, form where the students reached up to 90 percent, and the number of the first graduates was 10,000 in 2011. It can be seen that through the development of four years, free teacher-training policy has obtained some achievements, the number of recruited students increases annually, and it is especially comforting that to know that matriculate and present education situation in central and western regions are paid attention to at a comforting degree.The six normal universities directly under Ministry of Education in China all have provided teaching programmers for free teacher-training students, hoping to make those students gain effective teaching ability and grow to be excellent teachers through effective training scheme.Education practice has been regarded as the most important step in the process of training teachers, but the actual condition has set limitation to the improvement of the system of the education internship of many normal universities. Through interviewing and questionnaire with music teachers in several schools, we explore the characteristics of high school music teachers' quality structure which reflects the practical problems of high school music education in order to make free teacher-training students learn their weakness and the problems that will be encountered at work in the future and make them adopt to the education work. It is hoped that some useful suggestion can do some help to the education of free teacher-training students and high school music education. This is exactly the year when the first free teacher-training students will graduate and go to work after four years'cultivation. This paper is about the free teacher-training students from music major. The main Innovative point is to explore high school education for free teacher-training students by analyzing the quality structure of high school teachers and interviewing of the first group of free teacher-training students. |
