"Music curriculum standard" proposed some ideas, for example,"let music aesthetics as the centre,hobbies as driving force, for all students, pay attention to personality development and music practice,encourage the music creation." The practice of music was proposed firstly in curriculum standard. Theperformance of singers,dancers and composers cannot be made without music practice. The music societyactivities is one of the main forms of the middle school music practice, music activities provide a goodplatform for students. Through the activities, the students can cultivate interests, obtain music knowledge,improve their music skill and ability of cooperation.This article research on the music activity and the students’ music literacy of Zhengzhou school, basedon the research of this school, analysis the music activities’ influence on music literacy, and propose theadvice on the improving of the music literacy. The article include three parts.The first chapter, introduce the basic concept of the music club activity and music literacy, and theirrelationship. The first section mainly include the basic definition of music club and music literacy. Thenintroduce the three basic factors which can influence music literacy: school, family and society. Lastlyexplain the impact of music club activities on students’ music quality.The second chapter, research on the music activity and the students’ music literacy of Zhengzhouschool, through the analysis of some forms of music activities, after gain the questionnaires of the studentsthat participate in the music club or not, analysis the influence of music club activity on the middle schoolstudents to know well that how to improve the students’ music literacy during the music activity in thisschool.The third chapter, what enlightenment the success of music club activity in this school can bring us.This part is the key chapter of this paper, through the investigation and study of music groups in ZhengzhouZhengzhou middle school put forward some suggestions according to the requirement of the standard ofmusic curriculum teaching goal, hope that can play a certain reference role in the middle school musicliteracy.This article research on the music activity and the students’ music literacy of Zhengzhou school, analysis the feasibility of improvement of students’ music literacy through music club activity. Hoping thatthe positive influence of music club activity can be used fully and make full use of the music communityactivities to improve music literacy of middle school students.
