To survive and develop in such a competitive era with highly developed science technology and spiritual civilization, one may succeed and become the era steamroller with the ability of carrying out free and equal dialogue and innovative thinking, which are exactly the essences of play-spirit and art. Liberty, experience and creativity that play-spirit and art bring about are the things that everyone pursues. As an area of art education, pre-school musical education shall provide an environment where children can learn music freely, happily with desirable, imaginary and creative experiences. All these show great similarity to the fundamental activity of children's—games. With this similarity, there may be a way to guide pre-school musical education as a value orientation, to help stimulating children's enthusiasm of learning music, improving the quality of pre-school musical education, and making musical learning a vigorous and pleasant experience for children. With this thinking, after closely examining the current theories and successful cases, the author makes a deep study on how to apply play-spirit into pre-school education. Based on this, This research is divided into four chapters.ChapterⅠ:Introduction. Elaborate this research on its origin and research methods, and sums up the previous experience and results and the meaning of this research.ChapterⅡ:Game and play-spirit. The research defines game from various aspects based on different characteristics, and then summarizes the connotation of play-spirit based on the previous researches and individual thinking and personal research, from which brings out the belief that play-spirit embraces liberty and pleasure, experience and creativity, and is such a kind that is able to lead to equal dialogue which is above utilitarian concerns.ChapterⅢ:Play-spirit and pre-school musical education. The chapter clarifies the relationship between play-spirit and children's development from the angle of individual development and education. Then, this chapter emphasizes the importance and value of play-spirit plays in pre-school musical education. The chapter calls on applying play-spirit as value-oriented guide to help improving current problems existing in pre-school education, such as mechanical training and passive obedience, which causes obstacles in developing children's creativity.ChapterⅣ:Case study and instructive strategies. From practical point of view, the author sums up the characteristics of pre-school musical education with play-spirit based on studying outstanding musical educational cases, to demonstrate the core value that play-spirit plays in pre-school musical education, and to state that pre-school musical education activities with the guide of play-spirit would bring more pleasure to children, and can better increase their enthusiasm in music learning. At last, the chapter explores the play-spirit-based instructive strategies in pre-school musical education from five aspects, namely the objective, content, method, evaluation and environment of the educational activities.Through the research, The chapter clarifies the relationship between play-spirit and pre-school musical education. from studying the relationship between games and play-spirit with consideration of successful cases, presents certain play-spirit-based strategies that can guide pre-school musical education.
