Computer and the internet have brought to an unprecedented change to the whole world.They have great impact on everyone, make humans realize the information highway, and master it.They also changed people's lives and development. All of the world, especially the developed countries are taking the information technology education of students as the Government's major education project.Our country put a mounts of energy and money into primary and secondary information technology teaching. During the past 10 years, we also accumulated a lot of precious experience, as while we made some mistakes and into errors. Because the economic development of education throughout the country is not balanced during the process of exploration, we can't do research as a whole.The thesis survey is primary schools of Yanta District, Xi'an City. We through two methods, one is provide questionnaire for teachers, another is interviews.The main contents are:the situations of these primary schools' basic constructions and other infrastructure;Teachers'basic information, teaching environment, Teachers' teaching methods and curriculum for the understanding of information technology, the level of understanding of the New Syllabus for Schools, and the investigation of basic quality for students.The main work and contributions are:1. Through the survey of teachers for basic information, it has analysised these teachers; through the survey of teachers'teaching environment, it has told that the situations of these primary schools' basic constructions and other infrastructure; through the survey of teachers' teaching situations, it has realized suggestions and attitudes about teachers for information technology test books. And what the teachers methods and teaching philosophy.2. Through the investigation of the basic quality of the teachers, to master how the primary curriculum for the understanding of the importance of information technology, teaching content for the views and have the basic information literacy.3. Currently, Yanta primary schools also have some disadvantages during the stage of development, and provided several methods, suggestions, advices. 4. It has discussed and analysised the direction of future development and specific implementation steps for Yanta district primary schools.
