Information technology, which represented by computer technology, was being rapidly developed in the end of the twentieth century, the human had entered the information times which the information had grown in a high-speed. When we get into the twenty-one century, information technology, which represented by internet, was being rapidly developed too, the development of the information technology has had a huge impact on the economic, production, people's life and other aspects of the whole society. The computer had deeply spreaded into every family. The extensive use of computer not only increase the social productivity, promote the rapid development of the social economic, but also speed up the foot steps which human into the information society, become the strong tool of people understanding and change the world.Information technology also had a huge and extensive impact on the education. With the development of the education informationization, bring the magnificent change of the education form and learning mode, promote the reform of education, had a huge impact on the traditional education thoughts, concept, mode, content and method. Education informationization has a deeply significance to change the education thought and concept, education reform, lift up the education quality and benefit and bring up the creative talents. Education informationization is the inevitable choice of the education's rapid development. The open and teaching status of the primary and secondary information technology class has been a problem which concerned by many education research scholars. As a fundamental research work, survey and research the status of the information technology class has a magnificent reality significance to improve the education quality of the class, accelerate the development of the information technology education and push the basic education informationization.The research is about the status of the primary and secondary information technology education in the city of Xinxiang. In the aspects of the basic understanding of the information technology class, the situation of the class teaching, the ability of using information technology and the integration of information technology and courses, I had a deep survey and research on the situation and status of the information technology class in six secondary school of Xinxiang using questionnaire, talking and visiting the school from October to December in 2010. It's about deeply analyze the status of the current information technology education of Xinxiang city through the data statistics, including the analysis of student's studying, the status of the information technology teacher and the common subject teacher. From the survey I found problem of the information technology education and the resin, discuss the strategy of responding to the problem, and provide the reference suggestions and comments for the information technology education and reform, in order to improve the development of the information technology education well and fast.
