Shaanxi Province, Rural High School Physics Curriculum Implementation Environmental Survey

It has been three years since Shaanxi provice came into a new round of the high school curriculum reform in autumn of 2007. Now, a new concept has integrated into many physics teacher' teaching, Therefor, physics teaching has taken on a new look, such as Teaching mode divesity, teacher pay more attention to the students'growth, Not only the test score but also performance in class at ordinary times is the standad to assess student, physics teachers accepted the demands of the curriculum reform in elementrary education. Though new curriculum of physics has made certain results, there are many physics teachers saying that it is so difficult to teach the new curriculum of physics. They point out that they can not teaching without adequate experimental apparatus, but in most time, they can not find the instrument which is needed for physics teaching. How the high school physical status of implemention of the new curriculum?What's difference of the implementtation of the new phsics curriculum reform between rural high school and citical high school. To find out the implemention of new phsics curriculum reform, we hand out questionnaire to teachers and students in some high school in shaanxi provice, and analyzed the data and information. The main content of the investigation is as follows:Part one:The implementtation of the new physics curriculum reform outside the rural high school. The main content included how does the plan of the new physics curriculum, wethere the prople degree with the new physics curriculum and how does the education government support new physics curriculum.Part two:The implementtation of the new physics curriculum reform inside the rural high school. The main content included the policy environment inside the rural high school, the situation of the resources for phsics curriculum teaching, the implemention of the phsics teacher resources and the Learning atmosphere of physics.(1) The main content of the investigation of policy environment inside the rural high school is the integrity of the physics curriculum reform plan;(2) The main content of the investigation, which is about the situation of the resources for phsics curriculum teaching includded two parts:How does the implemention of the resources for phsics curriculum teaching and how does the utilization of these resources;(3) The main content of the investigation of the implemention of the phsics teacher resources is including physics teachers' professional level, etc; (4) The main content of the investigation of the Learning atmosphere of physics is including the atmosphere of scientific research, the cooperation between the physics teachers and the relationship between physics teachers and students.This thesis uses the methods of literature study, the interview questionnaire, etc. It took five months to design the questionnaire and the interview outlind science September 2010. We handed out the questionnaire to the high school teachers and students of Shaanxi provice in the next year.In this investigation, we handed out seventy-five teachers' questionnaire six hundred students' questionnaire. Then we recycled sixty-six teachers' questionnaire(the recovery rate is 88%) and five hundred and seventy-one tudents'qucstionnaire(the recovery rate is 95.2%).After these work, we collected and analysed the data coming from the questionnaire and interview with SPSS 16.0.Form the questionnaire and interview results, we found some shortage in the environment of physics curriculum reform in Shaanxi provice.Such as:1. The sceheme for Implementing the new physics curriculum is not perfect;2. There is short of physics resources in the rural high school of Shaanxi province and their physics teachers must increased their own consciousness of physics resources;3.The exterior supporting systerm is scienologist to the physics teachers in rural high school of Shaanxi province;4. Teachers'knowledge level don't conform their own degree,who are in rural high school of Shaanxi province;5. Teachers who are in rural high school of Shaanxi province should strengthened and increased their own consciousness of teaching research.On the basic of pondering and analyzing the data and practical condition, we put forward some suggestions:1. The proposal for Government.(1) It's necessary to increase the reform of atmosphere and strengthened the new concept of the physic curriculun;(2) The reformation of appraisal systerm concerned must be sped and completed;(3) Increase investment to rural high school, Improving rural teachers'corresponding benefits;(4) Strenthening physics teacher training, improveing the quality of teacher training in shaanxi province;2. The proposal for school.(1) Understanding the physical new curriculum concept more deeply;(2) Adjust the scheme of using the education funds and make it more reasonable; (3) Strengthen the cooperation with normal colleges.3. The proposal for physics teachers.(1) Developing and utilizing the physics curriculum resource,Build rich phdsics resource;(2) The physics teachers in rural high school of Shaanxi province should enhance their professional level and enhance their exploring capacties...
