Case Studies Of Green Civilization Class Construction

Based on the understanding of the reality of social development, the improvement of the construction of the class and the practice of creating a green school, the author analyzed and classified the basic concepts, spiritual styles and the significance of the green civilized class by referring to the literatures. The author got the following ideas: a green civilized class is developed by the sustainable development of the education theories; it aims to build a green humanistic class culture, to pursue a democratic atmosphere in which the students will be mutually cultivated, to foster the students'moral character featuring"friendly and cooperative", to develop sustainable learning, living and working habits of both the teachers and the students. Its basic characteristics are: reasonable arrangements of the classrooms, democratic class management, harmonious interpersonal environment, rich environmental protection courses, interactive classroom environment, the determination of green behavior. The basic principle is: overall development, active participation, collaborative cooperation, gradual progress, focusing features-oriented and differences considered; the main task is: under the leadership of the class teacher, all the class members will get along with each other harmoniously and participate the development of the class and the education activities of the green civilization actively, thus forming a class with a positive and upright atmosphere,team work spirit ,and good ecological literacy.Acceding to the ideas of green civilized school and the past experiences, the author took the Grade six ,class 2 in San lie Junior High School as the experimental subject to study the classroom environment, the interpersonal relationship, the class management ,the green courses and the green behaviors of the green civilized class .The author outlined five approaches ,eight methods, five strategies and six steps to construct the green civilized class .Five approaches: nurturing the students by constructing a healthy and upright material environment—the classroom, cultivating the students by realizing the harmony of man and nature ,motivating the students by building harmonious interpersonal relationship, influencing the students by guiding the harmonious development of the students and society, fostering the students by creating a relaxed and active green class. Eight methods: a good study of the students to find more about the students, a good plan to form a common development vision, a good system to form agreed rules, a good atmosphere to cultivate green class culture, good courses to develop green civilization curricula, good activities to ensure green theme practice, rich resources to set up the communicating bridge between home and class, and valid evaluation to select models of green civilization behavior. Five strategies: atmosphere construction priority strategy, process management strategy, subject consciousness strategy, happy activity strategy and home and class linkage strategy. Six steps: a joint decision -- class status evaluation -- plan construction– plan enforcement -- improvement on self-reflections--application for acceptance. Meanwhile, the author conducted a preliminary exploration of the evaluation index and the implement points of the green civilized class.The construction of green civilized class, by its very nature, pays attention to the healthy development of each student in the class. The most influential power of the construction of the green civilized class is to develop a positive and upward class culture. The construction of the green civilized class develops a class construction system based on the idea of enhancing the students' civilization literacy, highlights its practical value and makes the class management more enriched in green rhyme, the class culture more vital, the education more powerful, the professional development more potential. The construction of the green civilized class, not only enriches and develops the application fields of the "ecological civilization" theory, ,but provides a case of the construction of the class for the schools and the class teachers as well.
