The fast development of modern technology brings great changes to society and a great variety of pressure to people as well. Among all the pressure, the occupational pressure facing senior grade three teachers in middle schools are much more obvious. The heavy burden has greatly damaged the physical and mental health of teachers and affected the normal life of teachers. It has been an urgent issue to lessen the great pressure of teachers in order to make sure that their teaching tasks could be well carried out. How to get teachers clear about the sources and effects of their pressures and how to relieve them are the focus of this research.By defining the occupational pressure of teachers and analyzing its harmfulness, the essay analyzes the sources of teachers'pressures and brings forward some effective ways to cope with pressure.Part I:The definition of teachers'occupational pressure and brief analysis of two aspects of it. They are the basis of this essay.Part II:Brief analysis of the great harm of enormous pressure and pointing out that the heavy burden can not only affect the normal teaching but also do great harm to the health of teachers.Part III:The author points out the source is complex and multiple, including teacher's self-expectation, his (or her) own specialization degree limitation and individual personality, mixed with mutual effect and influence of some explicit environmental factors, including school's administration, social demand, economic burden and paterfamilias' comprehension degree, which formed the main source of senior grade three teachers'pressure.Part IV:The author points out that the reduce of teachers' professional pressure not only needs explicit environmental instruction, but also needs strengthen grade three teacher's self- adjust ability.
