Middle school students are the future of the nation. From both the modern and historic points of view, to strengthen and improve moral and ethic education is essential for the society development. Great attention has been paid on the moral and ethic education in middle school from the government and it is emphasized in the middle school education guideline that the moral and ethic education should be included in all the disciplines.This research is concerned with solving the effectiveness of the moral education in the middle school English teaching. Moral education has always been included in the traditional middle school English teaching however, the actual effect of moral education is not satisfying due to various reasons. Moral education without actual effect is meaningless. Therefore, the motivation of this research is to find the tactics and methodology to improve the practicality of moral education in the middle school English teaching.First, the relationship between the middle school English teaching and the moral education is discussed. Connotation and effectiveness of moral education are introduced and the problems of actual effect in current moral education are analyzed. Second, the actual effect of moral education in the middle school English teaching is described and the explanations for the low actual effect in moral education are presented as well. At last, the rule and methods of the middle school English teaching, which are related to the effective moral education, are investigated and measures to improve moral education environment and enhance teacher capability are presented.
