An Analysis Of The Factors Affecting The Performance Of College Students' Entrepreneurship

Nowadays, job-hunting has been increasingly difficult. It’s quite a hot issue to start one’s business, and college students draw most of the attention in this. However, the success rate of college students starting up business has always been low, characterized by difficulty they encounter, which is quite a blow to their initiatives. This phenomenon provides food for deep research and we’re intrigued in finding out solutions to improving the success rate of starting business by college students. This paper starts from entrepreneurial performance of college students, combines empirical analyses, and tries to locate all major factors influencing the entrepreneurial performance of college students, as well as establish a index system index displaying factors influencing entrepreneurial performance. This effort, as we hope, will be a reference for college students who want to start business, and who want to move out of dilemmas in business-initiation. Also, we believe that this paper will probably improve the success rate of business -initiation and possess significant value, in terms of theory and reality.First, this paper makes some definitions, and, based on theoretical analyses and empirical researches, proposes factors influencing entrepreneurial performance of college students. Later, this paper constructs a systematic index, made up of 3 one-class indexes and 10 two-class indexes, for factors influencing college students’business-initiation, which is great importance as guidelines for college students.In the ending part, this paper puts forward relevant policy proposals in terms of government leadership, college support and financial support based on fore-mentioned analyses. This paper hopes to act as reference for governmental policy concerning business-initiation by college students and help improve its success rate.
